The Mangrove Resort Hotel boasts 65 Hotel rooms, Charters A-La-Carte restaurant, Palms Bar, Tides Garden Bar and three function rooms on site overlooking the amazing turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay making for a beautiful working environment. We are currently looking for the following highly motivated and experienced "hands on" people to join our small close knit team.

Hotel Receptionist

Full time long term position available for a Hotel Receptionist - Duties include running shifts on the Hotel Reception Desk, Check In and Check out procedures, Internet & Telephone Reservations utilising Guest Centrix Computerised Reservations System, Night Audit procedures & Tour bookings.

The availability to work early mornings, nights and weekends is essential as we operate a rotational roster. Excellent Customer Service and Cash handling skills, use of computerised reservations system (Guest Centrix) and previous Hotel Reception experience would be highly regarded.

Chefs

We are looking for talented, highly motivated, qualified Chefs with a minimum of 2 years experience in a fast paced 4* Hotel environment.

Your contribution will be required to assist in producing exciting menus utilising fresh local produce for Charters A La Carte Restaurant, all day dining, buffet, room service, as well as our Banqueting and Conference facilities (Weddings, parties & corporate fine dining events)

Effective cost control and stock control measures are essential along with high levels of hygiene.

Your ability to become an integral part of our close-knit team of dedicated chefs and cooks in a fast paced environment is essential.

Food & Beverage Attendants

We are looking for bright, friendly and customer service orientated persons to fill this position. The Mangrove Resort Hotel boasts 2 bars one indoor and one outdoor overlooking the amazing turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay making for a beautiful working environment. Duties include bar and restaurant work, concerts and function work. The Mangrove also plays host to The Staircase to the Moon for 3 days each month making these dates the busiest on our calendar for both the bars and restaurant. A responsible service of Alcohol certificate is required.

Room Attendants

We are looking for experienced and dedicated people with an eye for detail to fill this position. We are a busy hotel with 65 hotel rooms, 2 function rooms, restaurant and bar. Duties include cleaning the hotel rooms, preparing the function rooms and looking after the bar and restaurant areas. Experience in other areas of hospitality an advantage as opportunities for extra shifts in other departments may arise.
