Mango Festival

The Lions Club of Broome held the first Mango Festival in 1986 as a way to help promote Broome's mango industry, raise funds for much needed community services and encourage community spirit.
The highlight of the festival is the opportunity to eat and drink mangos in as many ways as possible, as well as taking part in many other events. The events are: Great Bartenders of Broome, Public cooking competition breakfast, Mango tasting and Great Chefs of Broome
